Micarta Canvas Phenolic Sheet

Micarta is a brand name for composites of fabric set into a thermosetting plastic and is the common term used today for plastics that are impregnated with fibre compounds.

Common uses include electrical insulator, printed circuit boards, knife handles, and more. The CE or C grade is composed of a continuous cotton woven cloth impregnated with a phenolic resin binder. CE or C contains a medium weave canvas and is known primarily for it's mechanical properties. This grade is not recommended for primary insulation, but can be used for mechanical and decorative plastic uses.

C certifies to Mil-I-24768/16 FBM.

CE certifies to Mil-I-24768/14 FBG.

We have the capabilities to CNC your purchase to size as close as +/-.005 tolerance, or sell full sheets and ship direct to your door.

This material is also available thinner and thicker and in rod and tube. Please call our sales department for more information. Actual sheet sizes are approximately 12" or 24" x 48". Due to saw cut, the width may be .250" undersize, and length may be 47.75" to 48"+ wide.
