ABS Plastic Glue
Finding the correct glue for your plastic project can be extremely difficult depending on the style of bond that you are creating, the color of the material, and the type of material that you're using. Fortunately ePlastics
® stocks and sells the complete line of IPS Weld-On® ABS plastic glue and adhesives in a variety of formulations.
We have experts available with knowledge about which glue is the best for each type of plastic combination, for your desired outcome. Some projects don't care about color or transparency since they are more heavy-duty focused, while others must be 100% clear or waterproof. We have seen it all.
Please read the information below, and if you still have questions concerning your project, email us at

IPS Weld-On® 2354™ is water-thin, quick drying and is mostly Methyl Ethyl Ketone in composition. It is good for gluing small parts where fast drying is required, and is used for ABS to ABS only.
IPS Weld-On® 16™ (a clear multipurpose adhesive) is syrupy or bodied and fast drying. It works best for bonding dis-similar plastics together such as ABS and PVC, or ABS and Styrene, where the fit isn't perfect (such as flat surfaces, lap joints). Good in a pinch as well since we sell
1.5 oz. tubes.
IPS Weld-On® 4707™ is milky-colored, with syrupy consistency and fast drying.
For ABS to ABS bonds only. Great where the parts don't fit exactly right, for putting a bead inside a box you are trying to make water-tight, or for bonding applications where a bubble-free bond is not required (Ex: bonding solid colors).
